Burgundy Place opened in 1986 with 60 apartments and in 2002 an additional 27 units were added. Burgundy Place opened in 1986 with 60 apartments and in 2002 an additional 27 units were added. In the South Wing there are approximately 576 square feet in the one bedroom units and 720 square feet in the two bedroom units. Each has an outside balcony, tub/shower combo with support bars and heat lamp. In the newer North Wing, one bedroom apartments are approximatly 695 square feet and the two bedroom apartments range from 865 square feet to 974 square feet. All but 6 of the units come with a balcony, they all have walk-in shower units. The kitchen in each apartment is equiped with a frost-free refrigerator/freezer, full size stove, disposal and dishwasher. Each apartment is carpeted and drapes are furnished. Heat and air is individually controlled. Smoke alarms and emergency pull cords are in each apartment. Each wing has its own elevator. The South Wing has a central laundry faucility while the North Wing has a laundry room on every floor with coin operated washers and dryers, iron and ironing board and folding table.
