Our Memory Support Neighborhood offers residents specialized programming and meaningful activities 7 days a week. We are so proud that Dementia Care Education by Genesis HealthCare is recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association® for incorporating the evidenced-based Dementia Care Practice Recommendations in the following topic areas: Alzheimer’s and dementia, person-centered care, assessment and care planning, activities of daily living, and behaviors and communication. Berkshire Commons also offers Respite Stay options for a variety of needs. Those residents that are in Rehabilitation communities and are not quite ready to go home yet, can continue receiving therapy services while allowing them to receive assistance as needed prior to going home.
