The nurses and therapists are dedicated to guiding patients through their physical rehabilitation and their disease management education. Patient goals are personalized and often include returning to live successfully in their own communities. CareOne at Essex Park also offers a Dementia Specialty Care Unit that meets the regulations for licensing of Long Term Care facilities in Massachusetts. Our Dementia Specialty Care Unit is secure and includes a dedicated Activities Program Director, a person centered approach to care and an environment that assists residents with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) to function at their best ability. Our staff receives ongoing training that focuses on the care of people with ADRD. As many are aware visitations limits have been lifted by the Governor.
