Each Independent Living building features a commu... Christian Care Cottonwood offers HUD-subsidized senior housing in a well-kept, peaceful environment. We are a non-profit 501c3 organization and are part of the Christian Care family of communities. Each Independent Living building features a community laundry room and its own lobby/sitting area, complete with books, puzzles, and magazines. Residents' mailboxes are located in each lobby as well. All of our Independent and Assisted Living apartments are spacious one-bedroom/one-bath units. Apartments feature an open floor plan, a fully-equipped kitchen, and large bathrooms with a walk-in shower and safety bars for support. Pets are allowed in Independent Living, fees apply, 1 pet per apartment. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in Assisted Living. In Assisted Living, we provide Supervisory Care and Personal Care services. We accept both private pay residents and those with Arizona Long Term Care (ALTCS) benefits. The Assisted Living building offers an activity room with fitness equipment, a computer station, a library, and game tables. Equal housing opportunity is afforded to all persons who meet certain State & Federal guidelines to qualify. The head or co-head of the household must meet HUD age restrictions of 62 or older.
