Since 1963, Heritage Health in Bloomington, Illinois, has been Mclean County’s choice for compassionate, skilled nursing care. This historic location was the first senior care facility built by Heritage, and it has continued to make owners and community members proud. Locals know that our nursing home is tucked away on 700 East Walnut Street and that they’re always welcome to visit. Many of our residents need skilled therapy after an incident, illness, or hospital stay. We are a Medicare-certified senior community and are known for our successful physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs that enable our seniors to regain strength and return home. Our state-of-the-art therapy is specifically designed for the senior population. As much as we love our residents, it’s our goal to get your loved one back home. Seniors are always impressed at the environment we’ve created to make this possible. To help seniors recoup and recover, we offer therapy services seven days a week. And, we make their stay even more comfortable by providing private rehab suites. We also offer the largest rehab gym in McLean County! Our RESTORE Therapy gym is 2500 square feet and comes complete with the equipment and the experienced staff needed for successful senior care and recovery. Seniors can also take advantage of our Living Skills Retraining Studio. This unique area offers simulation opportunities so our seniors can be successful after returning home. While at home, seniors can also take advantage of our outpatient therapy. In addition to offering skilled therapies, we also provide a wide array of senior nursing services, such as wound care, tracheostomy care, cardiac rehab, IV care, respite care, hospice care, and long-term nursing care. All senior living needs, from safety and physical to spiritual and social, are met with excellence. We care about our residents and families; this shows within our senior service offerings and our culture of care. We offer services such as free transportation to all local medical appointments, so families don’t have to worry about safety or logistics.
