The lovely campus on 509 North Adelaide Street in Normal, is close to our sister senior care facilities – Evergreen Place Assisted Living and Adelaide Apartments. Whether you are seeking short-term skilled nursing care or long-term senior care support, we provide a unique continuum of care in a positive and impressive environment. We are a Medicare-certified, Medicaid-approved healthcare provider. We also accept private payment sources and most insurances. These payment options are essential, as many seniors are first introduced to us with required nursing home care, often following a hospital stay. Medicare and supplemental insurances are commonly used to cover these short-term stays. Our team of nurses and caregivers offer individualized care based on physician direction. On-site physical, occupational, respiratory, and speech therapists work to provide the strength and stamina needed for our seniors to return home. Skilled nursing needs may include care after cardiac episodes, falls, illnesses, or hospitalizations. Unique services such as respite care, hospice care, wound care, IV care, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), or nutritional needs are offered to and appreciated by the community. Individualized care also extends to Heritage Health's Legacy Care Unit, which caters to the unique needs of those with Alzheimer's or memory care needs. While we can only accept a limited number of residents, we've developed the campus to be the ideal size for our seniors to thrive. Our partnership and programming with Evergreen Senior Living offers us extensive expertise when caring for seniors with memory impairment. It's lovely to have this option for our existing seniors and our community. We have woven our campus within McLean County's senior healthcare community. Our affiliated hospital network includes both Advocate BroMenn as well as OSF-St. Joseph Medical Center. We've also built trusting relationships with both the Mennonite School of Nursing at Illinois State University and Heartland Community College. These relationships allow us to gain the latest in geriatric nursing information as well as the brightest students for our team. Illinois State University also provides us with Art and Music Therapy internists to work with our residents.
