Illini Restorative Care is the Quad Cities' ONLY health center to be rated 5 stars by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services! This rating differentiates IRC as the Quad Cities' premier choice for short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing care. We are so proud of our team, and so pleased to be able to offer such exemplary care and service to Quad Cities residents! IRC serves as many as 120 residents in a community that, along with sister independent living campus Crosstown Square Apartments, is part of WellSpire’s trio of providers of services to those 55 and older. The campuses came under the auspices of WellSpire on July 1, 2019. IRC first opened its doors in 1968 as a community hospital serving Rock Island County. The hospital became part of Genesis Health System in 1996, creating the Quad Cities’ first bi-state integrated health system. Today, IRC offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy for individuals transitioning from hospital stays, in addition to providing an environment for those needing long-term clinical care. The community’s short-term rehabilitation environment is differentiated in the market by, among other amenities, therapy involving virtual reality and cutting-edge technology and equipment. IRC is currently welcoming individuals who are seeking physical, occupational, and/or physical therapy after a hospital stay, as well as those who require long-term nursing care.
