The Mansfield Memorial Homes Apartments are housed in a seven-story brick building that has 69 one-bedroom units and 17 two-bedroom units, which include a living room, bedroom(s), kitchen, bath, and closet space. The apartments are available for residents 55 and over who want to maintain their independence. The apartments are equipped with air-conditioning and electric heat with individual thermostats. Each unit is fully sprinkled and a range, refrigerator, and disposal are provided. The building has elevators, a large outdoor patio, and six balconies, a lobby/lounge on each floor, and a large social room for recreational use. Laundry facilities, as well as trash rooms, are conveniently located on each floor. The building is secured and requires visitors to use an intercom system for entry. Special services include access to transportation for shopping as well as the availability of outpatient therapy provided through programs located elsewhere on our campus. We are pet-friendly and allow cats and dogs less than 30 pounds. Rent is based on income. Assistance from HUD is available for 49 of our units and Metro vouchers are accepted for all of the remaining apartments. There are seven one-bedroom units and 43 efficiency units. A limited number are handicapped-accessible. Rent is based on income, with assistance from HUD in all 50 units. Units have large closets and individually controlled heat/air-conditioning. Ranges, refrigerators, and disposals are included. The building has an elevator and is fully sprinklered and air-conditioned. Trash rooms and laundry facilities are conveniently located on every floor. This building is also secured and requires visitors to use an intercom system for entry. Tenants have access to a beautiful enclosed courtyard and a covered entry. A large social room and dining room on the first floor provide areas for activities and meals. Our “Sturges” tenants also enjoy special services such as the availability of outpatient therapy provided through programs located elsewhere on our campus. Cats and dogs under 30 pounds are also welcome in this building. The “small” size of our building is conducive to a very friendly atmosphere where neighbors are quick to help each other. Show All
